- as a tourist, for a cruise or on a holiday
- for business visitor activities (general business enquiries, reviewing contract, conference, trade fair or seminar, etc.)
- for studying or taking up training for up to 3 months (under specific circumstances) In order to apply for Visa Subclass 651, you must:
- be outside of Australia while you apply and until a decision is taken on your application
- meet Australia’s health and character requirements
- be a genuine visitor and only intend to stay on a temporary basis
- comply to the visa conditions
- have enough funds to support yourself in Australia, including daily expenses and return tickets
